To begin evaluating your patent using the TAEUSworks patent evaluation criteria, TAEUS recommends having three (3) experts in each field of evaluation to ensure accuracy: three engineers, three economic damages experts, and three lawyers, nine (9) experts total in the field pertaining to the patented technology. Additionally, TAEUS recommends having a technical manager oversee your TAEUSworks™ evaluation process to help facilitate the scoring process.
When a consensus score in each of the three categories is reached between your experts, and your technical manager, that score is incorporated into your final TAEUSworks™ evaluation, and can then be used to determine which PatentBooks™ tier your patent may be placed.
